Bathroom situation — be honest.
It's a closed-leg short, so it comes down like any high-waist brief. The silicone grip releases cleanly when you pull it down and re-anchors when you pull it back up — you're not fighting a corset or unhooking anything. Two seconds, done.
Will the silicone peel off in the wash?
The strips are heat-bonded into the knit, not adhesive-glued on top of it. Cold wash, mesh bag, hang dry, no fabric softener — softener coats the silicone and kills the grip. Treated that way it holds through hundreds of wears. If a strip ever lifts, that's a defect and we replace it.
Does the high waist create a bulge above the band?
That bulge comes from a hard elastic binding acting like a tourniquet. This top edge is a graduated knit that thins out as it rises, so compression tapers off instead of stopping dead. No shelf, no ridge under fabric.
Can you see it under white or silk?
This is exactly what seamless construction is for. No side seams, no stitched hem ring, no logo, no waistband ridge. Match the nude to your skin tone rather than to the dress and it disappears.
Is it too hot for all-day or summer wear?
The knit is a micro-grid waffle, not a solid sheet — it's an open structure with airflow built into the fabric geometry. It's breathable enough for a full workday, a flight, or a wedding in August.
How firm is the compression, really?
Medium — smoothing, not extreme. You'll get a clean line through the midsection and hips without gasping or rib pressure. If you want a rigid, boned, can't-breathe shaper, this isn't it. On purpose.
